Commuters on the Techiman–Sunyani road were left stunned when a Ford Transit bus suddenly caught fire at Faaman.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service, the flames spread through the bus, reducing it to a shell.
Firefighters from the Techiman Fire Station, led by LFM Joseph Awuni, arrived within minutes of a distress call around 12:03 p.m. and battled the blaze until it was completely extinguished.
While the vehicle was completely destroyed, no casualties were recorded.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but officials of the Ghana National Fire Service say investigations are underway.
