The Chief of Kofi Pare in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region has appealed to government, corporate organisations, and benevolent individuals to support the community with a modern health facility.
According to him, the existing CHPS Compound is in a deplorable state and lacks basic equipment, including hospital beds, making it difficult to cater to the healthcare needs of residents.
Speaking to Adom News after the launch of the Ahwede Abena Festival, the Chief also outlined other developmental challenges in the area, such as poor road networks, inadequate school infrastructure, and the lack of potable water.
However, he stressed that a befitting health facility remains the most urgent priority.
He explained that while the community is ready to begin a self-help project towards construction, their limited resources make it impossible to complete the facility without external assistance.
The Chief, therefore, renewed his call on government agencies, corporate bodies, and philanthropists to intervene and support the project to ensure quality healthcare delivery for the people of Kofi Pare.
