Global Patriots Germany, a pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) group, has urged unity and discipline among members as the party enters what it describes as a crucial period of reflection and rebuilding.
In a statement, the group appealed to both leaders and grassroots supporters to put aside personal ambitions, internal rivalries, and divisive rhetoric, stressing that the party’s survival and future success depend on collective sacrifice.
“Leadership is not about personal glory but about service to the greater good. The NPP must come first before individual interest,” the group said.
The statement acknowledged the challenges confronting the party and emphasized that “rebuilding a wounded party requires patience, tolerance, forgiveness, and the collective will of every member.”
It called on aspirants, executives, and elders to prioritize dialogue and discipline, while encouraging the youth to channel their passion into constructive contributions rather than divisions.
“A divided house cannot stand, but a united NPP is unstoppable,” it noted, adding that restoring public trust would only be possible if the party learns from its setbacks and recommits to unity.
The group underscored that the strength of the NPP lies not just in its name, but in the unity of its members. It reaffirmed its guiding principle: “NPP First. Unity First. Ghana First.”

PRESS STATEMENT
NPP FIRST!
As a patriotic organization with the interest of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ghana at heart, Global Patriots Germany calls on every faithful member of our great party—both at home and abroad—to remain calm, sober, and united in this crucial period of reflection and rebuilding.
The bitter lessons of our recent and painful electoral defeat remain fresh. This setback was not only a blow to the structures of our party but also a painful dent in the collective sacrifices of our loyal members, grassroots supporters, and distinguished leaders who have worked tirelessly over the years to make the NPP a beacon of hope for Ghana’s progress. We cannot afford to repeat the mistakes that divided our ranks and weakened our foundation.
We must therefore rise above personal ambition, internal strife, and divisive rhetoric. To our esteemed leaders who will soon be contesting for the opportunity to lead the party into the future, we humbly remind you that leadership is not about personal glory, but about sacrifice for the greater good. The NPP must come first before individual interest. The unity of our party must always supersede personal ambition.
The journey ahead will not be easy. Rebuilding a wounded party requires patience, tolerance, forgiveness, and the collective will of every member. The NPP is bleeding, and it will take all hands on deck – from the grassroots to the highest leadership – to heal, restore, and strengthen our movement for victory in the years ahead.
We urge party elders, executives, and all aspirants to embrace dialogue, discipline, and respect for party structures. We appeal to the youth and grassroots to channel their energy into constructive support rather than destructive division. Let us always remember: a divided house cannot stand, but a united NPP is unstoppable.
Global Patriots Germany strongly emphasizes that our guiding principle must remain NPP FIRST.
If we place the party above ourselves, learn from the painful lessons of the past, and commit to unity today, then together we can restore the trust of the Ghanaian people and reclaim our rightful place as the party of progress, development, and hope.
Let us all be reminded: the strength of the NPP is not in its name alone, but in the unity of its people.
NPP First. Unity First. Ghana First.
