A ‘one-week’ commemoration service for the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, is currently ongoing at the Manhyia Palace in the Ashanti Region.
Early visuals from the ceremony, exclusively captured by Adomonline.com, show scores of mourners already arriving at the palace to pay their respects.
The solemn ceremony is being conducted in accordance with traditional Asante customs, with chiefs, queen mothers, government officials, and members of the public expected to attend in mourning attire.
Nana Konadu Yiadom III, celebrated for her wisdom, compassion, and commitment to preserving Ashanti traditions, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 98.
