An 18-year-old girl is feared dead after she was trapped in a drain at Tesano, a suburb of Accra, following a downpour on Sunday afternoon.
The victim, Mary Ashamatey, is said to be a maize seller at Blue kiosk at Tesano.
According to eyewitnesses, she fell into the gutter, lost balance and fell into the drain in an attempt to retrieve her slippers.
