In an interesting turn of events, drivers of commercial vehicles, popularly known as ‘trotro’, and their conductors, popularly called ‘mates’, have turned the Ashaiman bus station into a football ground.
The drivers, who are part of the Coalition of Commercial Transport Owners, have withdrawn their services until government scraps some taxes on fuel to enable reduction at the pumps.
