President Akufo-Addo has thanked Muslims across the country for complying with the ban on social gatherings as they mark Eid ul-Fitr.
“I am very hopeful that, next year, Muslims in the country will congregate as they have done over the years, and celebrate Eid ul-Fitr fullyand without any restriction. We will go back, in joy, to Black Star Square,” President Akufo-Addo wrote.
