There has been a gas explosion in Takoradi in the Western Region.
Twenty five to thirty persons are said to have sustained varied degrees of injuries in the explosion.
The injured have been rushed to the Efia Nkwanta Hospital and other nearby hospitals for medical attention.
The injured include six personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service who were sent to the scene earlier.
