The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a series of four international friendlies for the Black Stars as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana will make their fifth World Cup appearance later this year, with the tournament jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The build-up begins on Friday, March 27, when Ghana face Austria at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium, with kickoff set for 17:00 GMT.

Three days later, the Black Stars travel to Stuttgart to take on Germany at the MHP Arena.

In May, head coach Otto Addo will guide the team in a friendly against Mexico, with the venue and kickoff time yet to be finalized. The final preparatory match is scheduled for June 2 against Wales at Cardiff City Stadium.

The Black Stars aim to improve on past World Cup campaigns, having exited at the group stage in both the 2014 Brazil and 2022 Qatar editions.

Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia. Their group-stage campaign begins against Panama on June 17, followed by a clash with England on June 23, and concludes with a match against Croatia on June 27.
